Large and impressive Sinclair "Dino" neon in height.
This striking multicolor example features hand-blown real glass neon tubing forming the iconic Sinclair Brontosaurus silhouette, highlighted with vibrant green body illumination, white outline tubing, and red "Sinclair" script with matching red "Dino" call-out at the neck.
The sign is housed in a full metal can construction and presents excellent visual depth and display presence when illuminated.

Sinclair Oil Corporation adopted the dinosaur imagery in the early 1930s to promote the age and quality of petroleum products, and the green Brontosaurus quickly became one of the most recognizable symbols in American service station advertising.

Neon dealership and station signs such as this were used extensively from the 1930s through the post-war era to attract motorists, making surviving examples highly sought after by petroliana and neon collectors today.

This example comes housed in the custom wooden skeleton shipping crate pictured, providing safe transport and storage.

Overall condition shows light handling wear consistent with display use, with strong illumination and excellent eye appeal.
