The 1965 Chevrolet Chevy II and Nova were updated with cleaner front-end styling courtesy of a fresh full-width grille with new integrated headlight bezels.
Parking lights moved down to the deep-section bumper, and sedans gained a new roofline, taillight and backup lights were restyled, as was the rear cove.
The Chevy II was designed from the outset for a V-8 and it could be ordered with a 283 cubic inch engine that had 220-horsepower with a four-barrel carb, and dual exhaust.
The 283 engine sits in a original looking compartment with factory correct intake, valve covers, cast iron exhaust manifolds, oil fill tube, and more.
This is an original car with 283 engine power glide transmission with power steering and brakes.
Matching numbers with protector plate.
The car was just painted and it was painted back to the original color.
correct 283 V8 that it was born with and beige paint and red interior as documented by the Trim Tag on the Nova.
Options on the car show it also had:
E = A01 Tinted Glass M = M35 Powerglide Trans P = U63 Push Button Radio S = U73 Rear Antenna R = U80 Rear Seat Speaker C = B70 Padded Dash
headliner all in red and all in great shape.
The Nova looks like it did back in 1965 as it rides on Chevrolet Rally wheels and black wall tires, with all body panels, trim, and chrome bumpers, and the factory 283 cross flag emblems.
